SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

  • submissions must be in English
  • submissions must qualify professional standard
  • submissions must be the orginal work of the entrant.
  • submissions must not be published in any other print format.
  • Any use of existing characters is not accepted.
  • No Copying of work/story of others.
  • No Adult content, including hardcore pornographic and violently pornographic scenes
  • electronic submissions Only
  • File Format: Jpeg (quality:Max 12)/Tiff
  • File resolution : 300 dpi
  • Color mode: GRAYSCALE

  • All copyrights for submitted works, and characters and stories within, are retained by the original artist.All entrant will receive a free copy of the corresponding issue and additional prizes.

    Submissions must be a complete story.story should not base on pre-existing stories.
    The heading and the artist name should be listed at the beginning of the story (Optional).No handwritten dialogs.

    Length: 1-10 pages (negotiable)
    Size: B5 (18.2 cm*25.7cm)

    Cover submission

    Entry criteria:
    Entrant that has submitted more than 5 pages of comic
    Cover must relate directly to the submitted comic.
    size: A3
    Color mode: CMYK

    *Only one entry will be selected as the cover.

    Back cover Submission

    Entry criteria:
    Entrant must have submitted more than 4 pages of comic.
    backcover must relate directly to the submitted comic.
    size: 15cm width x 5 cm height
    Color mode : CMYK

    *Maximum of 3 entries will be selected for the back cover.

    PRIZE

    Since issue #3 (2006). Generation decided to give some of the profits we made back to our artists. Every artist contribute to Generation will receive one of the following prizes as a reward to their contribution and effort:

    a) Comic Dip Pen Set
    (One dip pen holder + 3 G pen dip)

    b) Comic Paper
    Deleter Comic Manuscript paper
    For Dojinshi/B5 size book
    Out line scale A 110kgs
    A4 paper/B5 print size

    (Please tell me if you want 135kg instead, but generally i find 110kg works better)

    c)Comic Ink
    DELETER BLACK 1,2 or 3(30ml)
    Black 1 works well for drawing lines
    and painting
